  • COUNTERFEIT RADIOS Phil Weingarten's Fabulous Fakes - Tom Perera - W1TP

  • Phil was an AWA member, a very knowledgeable historian, and a master craftsman who did not always bother to tell his customers that his offerings were fakes. To some, he was an accomplished collector and historian and to others he was a villain.  But I think all will agree that he was an important part of antique radio History and it is important to know that some of his "Fabulous Fakes" are still out there masquerading as the real thing.

  • Special 1920’s Radio Restoration Techniques–Robert Lozier

  • Simply put: Robert does museum quality restorations. You won’t want to miss this presentation of some of the special techniques that he uses: An update to using UV Glues in vintage radio repair.  Yes - A solid state transformer emulator can be used in 20s vintage reflex radio circuit. Making a tube holding fixture for base repair.  A miniature plating drum for nickel plating hardware. Flattening warped boards on radio cabinets.
